Critical Illness Insurance

Critical Illness insurance can provide extra financial support when you’re facing a serious health event. If you’re diagnosed with a covered condition, such as a heart attack, cancer or stroke, the plan can provide a lump-sum payment directly to you to help with expenses while you recover.

How Does Critical Illness Insurance Work?

Critical Illness insurance provides a lump-sum cash benefit when you or a covered family member is diagnosed with a covered serious illness. You can choose from three coverage amounts, and your spouse or domestic partner and dependent children can receive up to 50% of your coverage amount.

The cash benefit is paid directly to you, and you can use the money however you choose, including for medical expenses, travel for treatment, mortgage or rent, or everyday living expenses.
