Open Enrollment
October 14 – November 4, 2026
This is your annual opportunity to review your needs and select the benefits that provide the best coverage and value for you and your family. Review this page to find out what you need to know and what you need to do during Open Enrollment. Then enroll in your 2027 benefits between October 14 and November 4, 2026. After Open Enrollment ends, you will not be able to change your benefit elections unless you experience a Qualified Life Event.
Passive Enrollment
This year, enrollment is passive. That means if you do not make any changes, your current elections will automatically roll over into the new year — except for the Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). You must actively enroll in the HSA or FSAs each year to participate.
What’s New and Changing for 2027
More affordable. More supportive. Easier to navigate.
Every day, you care for our clients, their families, and one another. We want to make it easier for you to care for yourself and the people who matter most in your life. We’ve listened to what you’ve told us, and the changes we have made for 2027 are some of the first ways we’re putting your feedback into action.
More Affordable Coverage
Medical Plan Deductibles Staying the Same
To help you manage medical costs, deductibles on the Aetna medical plans will stay the same for 2027. When you see Tier 1 providers, you will continue to save the most. We will continue to offer the Aetna Core APCN+ Plan and the Aetna High Deductible APCN+ Plan so you can choose the coverage that’s best for you.
Accident, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness Rates Decreasing — Again!
Rates for supplemental medical coverage — Accident, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness insurance — are decreasing for the second year in a row! If you haven’t enrolled in these plans in the past, this is a great time to learn more about how they can provide an extra layer of financial protection in the event of the unexpected.
Support When Life Happens
You asked for better support for your life. We heard you and are excited to share the following update for 2027.
Pet Insurance
Pets are part of the family too. New pet insurance through Spot can help you manage eligible expenses and unexpected costs that come with caring for your pets. BAYADA employees are eligible for 15% off a plan for their first pet plus a 10% multi-pet discount for your second and third pets (up to a total discount of 25%). Check out the plans here.
Making Benefits Easier to Understand
Brand New Benefits Website
This all-new benefits site is designed to help you more easily and quickly navigate all the options available to you. Throughout the site, you’ll find explainer videos to help you learn more about the plans and how they can work together. You can explore plan details and find helpful explanations to better understand your options and make informed decisions.
Medicare Navigation Support
We’re partnering with HTA Insurance Services to offer personalized, one-on-one guidance to help you understand your Medicare options and enroll when you’re ready. Navigating Medicare can be complicated, and this support can help you understand your choices and determine your next steps. Learn more.
